Description
Wild Basin is an area in southern RMNP that consists of moderate elevation forested bouldering along the North St. Vrain River.
Directions
From Estes: drive south on CO Highway 7 toward Allenspark. About 5 minutes past the Chapel on the Rock, you'll see signs on the right for the Wild Basin trailhead. Continue on this road, and you'll pass a tollbooth that is usually only open until summer. Here, the road turns from paved to dirt. Take the dirt road to the end where you'll reach the Wild Basin ranger station. Park and follow the trail into the woods.
