Description
Plethora of boulder and top rope problems. Usually secluded. Great granite rock! Camping within walking distance (100yds) Can be super cold in the winter. Great summer place to escape the heat and smog of the LA basin.
Directions
Take the Angeles Crest Highway (Hwy 2) N. past the 134 and 210. The Horse Flats turnoff is ~28 miles from the Hwy 210 intersection, and is the next paved road after Newcomb's Ranch. The road is windy so look at your odometer. After taking the Horse Flats turnoff, drive ~2.5 miles to the Horse Flats campground.
